PLEASE Help, DGen problems

Hey everyone

I took a break from my PSP for about 2 months, and came back to it, only to find it littered with garbage, so i formatted it thinking i'd be able to get everything essential back...well here comes the problem:

i use the emu DGen (Sega MegaDisc) and i used to run Sonic 3 PERFECTLY (sound, everything...) but now it runs choppy, the music is absolutely garbage, and lots of other problems...is it something i'm doing? Please help! i've tried v1.3, but that just came out so i figured i would try older versions, but the folders of the emu only come with 1 Eboot file so i'm having trouble getting those versions to work...PLEASE HELP!

You may have messed up a setting. Check that:

333mHz
Max fps = 60
Max frameskip = 1
