    Default PSP 2000 better?

I plan to buy a PSP but I do not know which model. The PSP 3000 has a better screen, increased range of colors, etc, but is it that a big of a difference from PSP 2000?

I'll be using the PSP for homebrew, specifically emulators playing everything up to PS1 games, but I heard PSP 2000 has better homebrewing than PSP 3000.

So which one is the better buy?

Well with ChickHEN both of them can play HB, but on 3000 you can't play your backups of UMD/PS1 games. So my suggestion is go for older PSP 2000 rather. New PSP 2000 have already CFW enabler which allows you to do same as CFW except plugins, but that works only on all PSP 2000, not 3000.

Thats not true. Its display looks like crap. It has unnaturaly scanlines. Only thing that 3000 has over 2000 is stupid mic

EDIT: Well 3000 can do same right now
