Cannot access xmb vhs menu and plugins won't work

I have 5.0 m33-6 installed on my psp but i do not have access to the xmb vhs menu when i press select (it is enabled in recovery mode) and many plig-ins do not properly run (i promise you that they are correctly installed and enabled).

does any1 have any idea why this is happening?

examples of plig-in problems:
screenshot 1.2 does not work at all
ultimate vhs menu v2 works but once i exit it my psp's xmb goes crazy and then it freezes.
