Default Setting Animated Gifs As Background On Psp

its been a long time since we have had the ability to set the background of the psp..Indeed a great feature...but my question is to the coders out there what stops us from being able to set animated or motion GIF images, i noticed that for some games when you highlight the umd (dbz shin budokai or dark stalkers that they manage to set some sort of format that allows a animated file( of some sort maybe not a gif although i hope! as i have a huge gif collection) do you think this could be exploited? any ideas are welcome..
thanx in advance this is a feature ive hoped for since the release of 2.0.. right now motion gifs do show up as a GIF FILE in the psp/photo folder not currupt so i thought maybe this was an advantage??? but there look like say when you open a animated gif in paint instead of being animated they are still like a plane ole jpeg or bmp? i dont care if theres a chance of messing up the flash like pspersonalize i just want to set a motion gif so bad!!

That would be sooooooo cool. Maybe one day we will be able use animated gifs.
