Lightbulb Descent I and II for Wii

I'm requesting/suggesting porting Descent I and II onto the Wii for the following reasons:

    - Current Descent Project (descent2.de) is open source, programmed in C++ and has older versions programmed in C, and uses SDL.

    - Already programmed with highly customizable controls and graphics settings to allow for easy adaptation to Wii controls and graphical requirements.

    - Unique 360 degrees of freedom gameplay style that has long vanished from modern gaming consoles.

I would think that having an open source version available that uses SDL would make this a somewhat simple game to port. I would attempt this myself however I lack both programming skills and a recent enough operating system to try.

I thank anyone who is willing to do this in advance for their time!

I also hope to see this some day. It would be perfect for Wii controls.
