DSi mode has not been cracked yet. Until it does, we will still only have the 4 MB of RAM that the original DS/DSL had.
I saw something that said that the dsi had 16mb of ram and found that the ds had 4MB. I was wondering if that meant people could make better emulators that run on the dsi.

I don't know what you mean by not cracked.
Meaning, we don't have access to the DSi hardware yet because it has security schemes that have not been broken yet. We can only run regular DS programs in the backwards-compatible DS mode. We can't use the cameras, or the faster processor, or the WPA wireless capabilities, or the extra RAM.
