PSX game problem....

Ok so I've been playing ps1 games on my PSP since I put CFW on it and it's mostly worked fine, but when I try to start Parasite Eve 2 and always get an error that says something like "game could not be started 80000004" and I can't seem to find any fixes... apparently it's some kind of save file problem but I have no save file for the game. I've tried searching the forum and google but nothing has helped. It's weird, because it's only this game (I was playing the first one just a few hours ago).

I'm using 5.00m33-6 cfw with popsloader. I've tried several versions but it still gives me this error.
