Help with transfering games to psp

my friend from canada sent me a game file threw the internet and he said i could put it on my psp without having the umd, he sent me nba street or something like that but there are a bunch of stuff that looks greek, like iso's and stuff is there a way i could get the game on the psp memory stick (1gb) without having the umd please help if theres a way..
