Heres a nice exclusive for us all here at PSP News, with the good help of our friends at Lik Sang (Who Compiled for me the top selling PSP Games of 2005 from 1st of January till 31st of December).

If you dont know Lik Sang are one of the worlds biggest importers and exporters of Video Games and Consoles etc and because they sell games from each region it gives a unique insight on whats sold best via them.

Heres the top 10 of 2005

Yeah, no doubt, I thought I was the only one who couldn't care less about GTA, but apparently "the world" agrees with me (!_!)

Wipe out pure is so high probably because of the hidden web browser.

No, Wipeout is so high because it's a great game that has been, until recently continuously improved by it's creators with extra track download packs and all that stuff. Plus it looks and plays great.

Keep in mind, too- a lot of those were from 1st half 2005. Now, by the second half of 2005 the PSP titles were a lot more accessible to buy in your local retailer and so less people would be buying their titles online and overseas.

Personally, I've been watching how the titles are selling at Wal-Mart. The way they display their games is to put the recent releases at the top of the display case and after they are two or three months old they are moved to the lower shelves. And after about 6 months they disappear from the display altogether.

What's interesting is that Socom: Navy Seals has retained prominent positions in both the top AND bottom of the case since its release about 5 months ago. Plus they seem to be replenishing the stock of that one.

So it would seem that the best seller at Wal-Mart, at least here in Canada, is Socom: Fire Team Beta. This might be partly due to the fact that S:FTB is the only title showcased in Sony PSP advertisements in this part of the country. (The Sony ad campaign here is very, very lame. If Sony only knew how many $$$ they lost out on because of lack of advertising, some one would get fired for sure. Half the kids here don't know what a PSP is. But they all know what a DS is.)

FIRST these are ONLINE SALES ive never bought a game ONLINE FROM LIKSANG i have got accessorys from them like my psp to tv adapter, ill tell you there fast shipping...AND RELIABLE!
SECOND wipe out was out longer a launch title compare the sales to gta factoring in the fact that gta is newer and im POSITEVE THAT IT WOULD BE IN THE TOP 10 more than that i know the guys at my local e b and they say gta sells more than most games and more than that he has to know the answer to this question more than 3-5 sales of the gta game!-----

that sells better than "psp hells yeah" what the hell is that?
how about do you want an mp3 player to listen to music on the go? do you want somthing to do at the doctors office while you wait? do you want to wach all the movies in your dvd collection or pc collection on the go?
then my friend....YOU WANT A PSP...tell me what you think gr8 commercial huh....it seems funny as a psp user i just sold the psp!!! and as the creators sony does not seem to be trying!
