Stupid Question: Have you tested any 2.5 or 2.6 firmware required games with this? If so, did any work? Also, you did say that it can restore to the default 1.5 firmware, correct? I did not notice these two items in question when I read the readme. Thanks for this great app, Art. Keep up the good work.

great program art, can you tell me how to edit the error sound , no disrespect, just wanted to try some other sounds, i already used pspmenuedit to get my own bootsound back, just not sure about the error sound. Realy nice to get rid of the sony logo, maybe in the future this could be a stand alone option, again no disrespect the startup sound wasn't to my taste, and to lose the sony logo you must take your startup sound. Anyway all round fantastic program. OK im getting carried away , is there anyway to change the boot text?

as nightwinn asked, I am asking also, is the firmware spoofer reversable?

say i spoof it to FW version 9.99 and exit to go play a 2.00 required game, will it allow me to run X-Flash again to restore it back to 1.5?

Don't you think i'd have that problem myself during testing?
X-Flash is smart enought to detect your real firmware version even after using the spoofs.

it lets you use your own boot sounds... menu sounds might come next.

boot sound? the sound the psp makes when it goes to that White PSP screen just before a game loads, right? Boy, I used this thing and didn't see the option to create a backup, so I delete the boot movie which I thought in fact deleted the gameboot movie (kinda like the Psix transition from interface to game; no movie at all, just right into the game) so anyway, I freaked out b/c I realised I hadn't created a backup and I knew by removing this previously, it caused problems with my GTA playability, so when I realised it only removed the sound again, I though "Uh oh" b/c I didn't think I had backup. Luckily, I had done this once b4 and kept the file from PSPset and just chose to make the file hidden on my ms0. I found it an reinstalled with PSPset.

Moral of the story: Either make backup b4 you get too excited to skip that step, or ART - make yourself easier to find at your website. I couldn't find you at all, so I couldn't email you while I was freaking out.... But then again, I didn't think to PM art here b/c I didn't know he was a member. I made my d/l from QJ.

Yeah, or you could just press circle to restore to original like it says at the bottom of the screen.

The 'Boot sound' is the sound the PSP makes when you turn it on.
The gameboot movie is the movie with sound that gets
played when launching a game.
Both of these options, if changed, can be restored to original
like everything else that is changed by the program.

Art by please you respond me a question is very important, I am spanish, forgive if me do not I explain very well, my question is I have a font modified and all perfect, but if I go oh the adjustments of the system and in the menu of seleccion of languages if I look at the Russian language leave me the characters badly leave me represented as boxes, therefore well I do not dare oh to select it for itself not if it is able pricked my psp, I it eh tried with the emulation with mph fw loader and eh selected the Russian language and functioned me perfectly without no error all perfect but leaving the characters represented as squares, and did not they leave correctly but not the psp was blocked at no time, and could sail in all the options perfectly, so my question is really ahi danger and the psp can die if I select the Russian language with a font modified in the real flash? or would pass the same thing that in the emulation that functions perfectly but the characters leave done not recognize, please is very important for my and for all the people and if there the danger that dwells my psp therefore I uninstalled me the font modified, thanks by your answer

please you respond me because if this was dangerous I would not put a fonst modified, my opinion is that would not be damaged me the psp since if does not give me no error in the emulation would not have that to give it in the real flash, but with which not it itself really therefore I ask oh the teachers and X flash creators, greetings and I expect an answer since I have a lot fear and insecurity on this theme, thanks

edit, my fw is 1.5 jap, and that would pass me if to re-establish the values predetermined of manufactures having a font modified? the language will leave in jap there would be some problem and would be able to die my psp? greetings and thanks

is there a site with other fonts and sounds to choose from? also art.. is the psp's start up sound only limited to about 3 seconds? i wanted to put the original playstation boot sound on my psp... but its around 15 seconds long. thanks..
