    Default Whats a Good and Free Registry Cleaner

    been so long since i had a problem with a PC and usually i just format anyway but not being able to go that way im stuck with trying to find a decent registry cleaner, anyone know of any good and free ones ?

    That's what I do, keeping all the neccesary files in a safe place for the re-install.


    I've never used a registry cleaner, what do they do exactly? I may need to use one on my mums PC to declutter the invisible crap if that is what they do.
