here is an idea for for some of you developers, considering the fact that non of the remotes currently circulating will work on firmware 2.x, see if you can make one that will.

There is no way currently to downgrade a 2.6 PSP at all. Until homebrew is able to access the PSP's kernal mode to change the apparent version of the PSP, there is no way to spoof the trick used to downgrade previously.
