sounds good, if my memory stick ever becomes corrupt ill give it a shot.
Okay, i stumbled on this neat little trick about
6 months ago and i don't think anyone else has discovered it yet...
It's very simple.
1. Remove the corrupt memory stick from your PSP.
2. Go to system settings and choose format memory stick.
3. When it tells you all the data will be deleted and asks if you're sure, insert the corrupt memory stick and choose yes.
I never submitted this before because i wasn't sure that
this was what fixed it, but it's worked for me twice now so i'm pretty sure it works.
Mods, could you please move this to the news forum? =P

This doesn't work, nor any method for me. I get a format error (80220089)
How do MC's get corrupt???
cyber_jc28, like any other portable storage device - either the file system becomes corrupted or there is a hardware fault with the device itself.
If it's the file system, use chkdisk on Windows or fdisk on Linux.
doesnt work at all
