Oh, la, la, my favourite PSP program has been updated. AGAIN. Excellent work, stable program and doesn't consume any resources worth talking about, allowing you to play Prodigy MP3s during boss battles on Duke3DI knew this shell would go far, and I'm giving it to everybody in the school PSP club!
So many new features, so little time, but it has been done, for it was written: Thy wraggster, overlord of the homebrew ground, preached to the people that the iR shell has JUST BEEN UPDATED!!! WOOO

Guys & Gals, iR Shell only supports firmware 1.5 and it will not run on 2.0 or above. iR Shell needs full kernel access and run under kernel space to allow multi-tasking with other homebrew & UMD games.
The problem for 2.x firmware is it doesn't allow kernel access yet. So 2.x firmware users will have to wait until someone hacks 2.x firmware to allow kernel access for homebrew.
this is looking better and better all the time. I might want to try it finally. As for listening to my own mp3s when I am playing a UMD, innovative idea, but the same 10 songs would get old after a while (like if you play GTA:LCS for 5 hours) I tried it b4 and didn't like it, but again, it looks like it's finally coming around.
Sorry, only support fw 1.5 as iR Shell requires kernel access.
yup thats what the creator says 2 .....
This has been my favorite homebrew since first release, and now it just got three times better!!!!![]()
Ahman....damn bro! You have outdone my wildest expectations for homebrew on PSP. You deserve a real nice cold on, on me. I am truly enjoying this...you don't know how much!
Dude...You, IR Shell & the people that have worked on it with you...SO MUCH F'N ROOOOCK!! Praises!
please exsuse my ignorance, but i'm having trouble getting my infra red working right. i get the screen that shows the bottons, and controls but nothing happens when i press them. i'm sorry i sound like a nub, it's just that this is the first time i've used this program so i don't really know how things work.
please tell me what i could be doing wrong.
