Saved Game Issue...HELP! *SOLVED*

I hope I am posting this in the right area, forgive me if I am not!

Anyway I was playing my backup of Skies of Arcadia because I could not locate my legit copy and I reallly wanted to play it.

so I played it for a few days off the backup, I finally found my legit copy, I would rather use the legit copy because the load times are better etc.

Anyway so I put in my legit copy and it will not detect my saved game, the VMU is detected, and when I put back in the backup CDr version it sees my saved game and I Can continue?

Anyway know how to help here or something I should be doing to fix this? I Really don't wanna start over, and I don't wanna keep using the backup for fear of my laser going bad and the longer load times.

Because you downloaded a different regions version of the game.

You cannot continue using the original, but that's a price from downloading the game.

Yeah the game was marked NTSC for the Backup, but I guess it wasn't correct.

Anyway here is how I fixed it:

1) I Downloaded DreamExplorer

2) I loaded it up and wrote down the name of my saved game off my CDr Copy

3) Loaded in retail copy

4) Played through and saved Game in new Slot

5) Loaded up Dreamexplorer

6) Wrote down name of Legit Save Copy

7) Removed Legit Save Copy

8) Renamed CDr Saved Game Copy to the same as the Legit Retail Copy Structure

9) Rebooted game with Legit

10) Loaded game fine!
