    Default How to get homebrew on the Wii

    Ok so I have the homebrew channel on my wii and it runs but how do I put games there and how to do I run them?

    Default

    it depends on the type of game

    if its a homebrew game then you just download the folder and put it in the apps folder on your sd
    Ex. sd root->apps->game folder
    after that just launch the homebrew channel from your wii menu, pick your game and play

    if its an emulated game like snes, n64, gba, etc. then download the emulator and put it in the apps folder
    then put a folder in the root of the sd with the emulators name. in this folder make two folders named roms and saves

    if you are using emulators then i would strongly suggest using the ones made by Tantric.
    unfortunately though there isnt a tantric emu for n64 (wii64 is only option and the only one i cant get to work)
    finally, only use games that physically posess a copy of, otherwise it is illegal

    for a little extra fun try pressing 1+2 at the app select menu. enjoy the bubbles
