I am still trying to learn how to use my current 3D program, 3D Canvas, but it's a pain. it there a particular program that i need to make 3d models for the dreamcast? What pics cast128dreams?
seperaste work loads into blocks to avoid hobbiest coder burn out. if they quit that way sum1 else can take up on it. and try to make it online game too. use 56k, bba and my mynatt cable hook up.
In General using 3DS format will work best since it is one format that we know the most about. But really, any format which can be easily imported into Blender (or simlar tool) and then exported to a common format will be fine.Originally Posted by Mr_Biggs
If your tools can export to 3DS format that would be best since it saves some time on our side to reformat it.

Very true. Currently I am working on getting the basic game mechanics working, once this is complete the workload will be split further to facilitate getting this project completed in a timely fashion.Originally Posted by ßüboni¢ $oñic
Also, all projects we are working on will make use of the Tiki library to facilitate multiplatform support
Currently Tiki works on Linux, Windows, Mac OS-X, Dreamcast. Other platforms which may end up being supported: PSP, GP32x, anything else supporting OpenGL with an open source API.
