They will work 0n 2.6. But they need to be in the correct format. You need psp video 9 and dvd shrink, and a good sized memory stick. Use dvd shrink to cut out the credits and save memory and use psp video 9 to transcode the video into psp playable format. Both of these programmes are free.

in dvd shrink go to edit, preferences output files and uncheck split vob files into 1gb chunks.
Then open disk, then re-author, then drag main movie over to the other window where it says dvd structure. Then set start end frames to save space. (Cut out the credits)
Then go to compression settings and select custom ratio and drag the bar all the way to the bottom. It wont make a difference to the quality, as the psp screen is so small.

    Now open psp video 9.
    Transcode new video
You can change the quality settings under setup.

If the file is AVC it goes in the 100ANV01 folder
If the file is MPEG4 it goes in the 100MNV01 folder.
Psp video 9 does this automaticaly.

Good luck, and if you need any more help keep asking until you get it working.
