    ps2 PS2 EyeToy Cameras

    News from Divineo UK

Got the games, but not the camera? Now you can buy the camera seperately!

    More info :

The EyeToy technology within the EyeToy USB Camera (for PlayStation 2) features motion tracking, light-sensing technology and a built-in microphone to record and detect audio. It can function as a simple photo and video camera, snapping photos, recording video and placing players on the TV*. Simply connect the EyeToy USB Camera (for PlayStation 2) to the Playstation 2 computer entertainment system via one of the USB ports and insert an EyeToy compatible title to begin the fun.

I have homebrewed Windows drivers so you can double duty eyetoy cams as webcams, that I downloaded from someone somewhere, and they work, so if you have or get an eyetoy, don't buy any webcams............

I wonder how difficult it would be to retro-engineer PS2 drivers to use any windows webcam as an eyetoy?
If I know sony, they invested millions of dollars into making it as hard as it possibly can be.
sounds like a challenge to me....
