Default psp cfw 5.00 m33 problem

ok so im trying to fix a psp for someone and add a custom boot sound like I have done a million other times. but I have a problem this time... when in the recovery menu under > advanced > flash0, flash1, flash2, and flash3 all direct to the same place, the mem stick, I haven't run into this problem before, so Please someone who has done this before tell me how to fix it.

will reinstalling the cfw do it?

You can either try reflashing the cfw, or going into the xmb, pressing select for vsh menu, then changing the usb mode to flash 0 1 2 or 3 from there.
