I just would like to warn you before you get banned talking about roms, or isos. Nobody can tell you on these forums where to get the roms/isos, so its not really worth it to ask. All I can say for your hint: "google search". And there is no such thing as a Super Smash Bros Melee Rom. Becareful what you ask on these forums.
Remember: Support Nintendo, buy their games, not pirate them.

Now with the emulator... It may be more compatible with games, but speed comes first in my book. I dont want to play a game that isnt fun, just because of speed issus. You dont need "one heck of a computer" to play this, you just have to have a decent video card with at least a Pentium 4 Processor. If your using a computer with a Pentium 3, and Windows 98... I wouldnt count on playing this emulator.

oh, ok. well I have a real gamecube and happy with it. thanks. I just wanted the SSBmelee.image for Dolphin, but then I just bought it for Gamecube.

The slow speed is normal. Just wait for the next version, which will get really good FPS if you have a dual core computer.
Another good emulator will be gekko

hii can any1 tell me how 2 make the controls work on the keyboard for this emulator srry im really new to dis , wen i click on da contoler icon i get a new window n it has a pic of a game cube controler n it says no joystick detected.. how do i change it 2 keyboard control n wuh r da keyboard controls... i get an error message everytyme i load a game it says no joystick detected.. thx in advance
