well guys the new firmware will be out about the ps3 launch so it looks like it will have a ps1 emu so you can play ff on it
Ha!!! 2.6 is the end of the line for me. One more upgrade, and Homebrew is FINISHED. 2.7 sucks BAWLS!!! Bottles and bottles of Bawls until you die of caffeine poisoning...Originally Posted by benh
I, unfortunately, happened to have purchased a v2.01 psp, and then I guess I upgraded to 2.6 because it can't be any more difficult (or more easy) to downgrade (when, or if one is ever released). I'm losing hope...
2.7 will NEVER appear on my PSP!!
I don't mean to offend you at all and I respect your opinion, but it must be true that you feel a great deal of remorse for upgrading to 2.7, because now you have shut the door to homebrew and stuffed the key under the crack... "U know u want to..." Sure, I love killing homebrew for good just for some stupid Locoroco anime game... I'll pass.Originally Posted by benh

I updated my main firmware from 2.60 to 2.71 right after i installed the modchip. i have to say that the flash player could be MUCH faster than sony made it (they could have at least make it run at 333mhz). and as long as thre's only 1 demo available(2 for japan), it's NOT worth updating (for those without the modchip).
Why oh why did I have to update to 2.71...oh...because I just bought my PSP yesterday -_- the same day I stumbled upon all of this! Emulators..roms...hacks and stuff...2.71 sucks bawls ;/ alas...I'm stuck this way.![]()
HAHA 2.70/2.71 n00bs!!!11 The downgrader for 2.60 is out !! u still dont regret upgrading?
If sony can make demos of games cant you copy how they have done it and make homebrew games that actually work, caus the last few games i have tryed never even worked with the unreliable gta & tiff exploits.
Im now at 2.71 and trying my best to work out how the demos are created so i can copy their example.
"2.7 not so bad" LOL
