... I was going to state that you COULD be talking about anything, but you directly state that you want to play UMD (copy-righted games that you pay for) from flash. This is illegal, and if you read the rules (nearly no one does), you'd know that you're not supposed to talk about it.
As for a 2.6 hack, other than the GTA back-door, it looks fairly slim. 1.0 had a fairly wide-open hole that was exploited, and it was a modified form of that which let people into 1.5. 2.0 was broken because Sony didn't bother to patch a known issue with running unsigned code in image formats that they added support to. o_O Since 2.0, there have not be any hacks that allow user-made programs to be run except through the GTA backdoor. It looks pretty unlikely that there will be.
What makes a firmware likely to be cracked? Something that adds a new feature. Just a security update doesn't make any new holes, as noted by no progress being made in 1.51 and 1.52. Your best bet is to see if one of the newer firmwares Sony releases is able to be cracked.
Hope this answers your question. ^_^ Other than that, read the rules, and don't spam about getting something for free that you never bought. Don't bother with the cover story that you just want to play backups of your own game..
