DC Speccyal K SBI Released

DCStuff has released an SBI of _tyrell's_ new Spectrum emu. You can download the SBI from DCStuff' SBI Page. This SBI includes the "roms" needed to get the emu going. You still have to provide the games, but everything else needed for this emu is in the SBI.[br][br]Hawq also posted this little bit of advice on the DCEmulation forums:[br]

For games for this one go to World of Spectrum they have permission to distrubute quite a lot of games.

Just wanted to let everyone know - I tested this SBI, and it seems to work beautifully. I didn't have any games to test it with, but it started up without any trouble.

Well, I didn't have any games, yet, so I haven't actually played anything yet. Looks cool, and I look forward to trying it out for real when I get a chance. It's really cool to have emus with commercial roms that are actually in the public domain. I wish more older consoles had that available. It would be sweet to see all C-64 roms go PD (or, even better, I'd like to see the Vic-20 emulated on the DC, and have all of the old disk and tape images go PD, so that they would be legal, and a lot easier to find).

Ive emailed world of spectrum to see if they would be interested in a release of an image with roms of this great emu

I am totally overloaded with work atm...

The image idea + email is great though! I won't have any time soon to check thousands of games in the near future

Maybe I'll do it anyway if they respond ;D

Could you tell me some more about this in the staff area? DCDayDreamer thought about something similar and we've discussed it already over at www.DCEvo.com some days ago...
