This is the version for newer firmwares that don't have the 1.50 kernel mode plugin.
There is no GPS functionality in this version,
but the map viewer works the same.

Hi Guys,
Here is my application entry for the Neoflash coding competition.
Since there are no other entries yet, it looks like I'm first so far.

AVEC V1 GPS Vector Map Viewer for PSP (1.50 Kernel Version)
AVEC is a Vector map viewer capable of displaying and navigating maps
in the common Polish format maps.
This 1.50 kernel version can also receive location from a GPS device and
display your location on the map.
If the map file has street information, the program tells you what street
you are in, or lookup the name of a street selected with the crosshair.

See my personal AVEC webpage:

The download link in this post is for the 1.50 kernel mode version with GPS functionality.
Cheers, Art.

good luck with the Comp, im sure you could enter more of your recent homebrew in the comp too![]()
I've posted a pm to Dr Neo since I didn't know if you could enter more than one app.
I would put Fractal Universe in it.
Looks like there would be far more voters on the NDS scene though,
since there's far more entries.
yeah multiple entries are allowed im sure,
as for the DS vs PSP comp, i reckon this year the PSP comp will be the easier one to enter because of the amount of entries in the DS catagorys.
makes me wish i knew how to code![]()
I've just doubled the performance by doing the line and poi search at the same time,
and can probably include the polygons in that too.
I wish I'd done that before the first release.
