Art has released a new version of X-flash in our forums, heres whats new:

This is a firmware modification program for the Sony PSP (1.50 firmware only). Please be sure to read the text file included with this package carefully.

New for X-Flash V9:
=> Improved useability of Background changer.
=> Write verification for all flash operations except when using external files.
=> Functional improvements and enhancements including new screen.

I've never tried this. What else can it do? Besides Backgrounds I mean.... Does it change fonts, sounds, messages, icons, etc. etc.????

Is this one of those programs that can F*** up your PSP if you dont use it right?

Yes. It writes to the flash, and there for CAN brick your PSP if you aren't careful.

you are asking the wrooong question.
Better one would be how can I run software from an eboot that is capeable of writing to the flash.

answer is still no way.

You've probobly heard of the eboot loading on 2.XX+
But untill fanjita (or maybe someone else) figures this one out you are outta luck.

Eboot loaders do not enable writing to flash.

If you want homebrew with ease you are outta luck.

XFLASH is a custom flashing program.
If your loader doesn't write to flash then
running a program designed to write to flash isnt going to work the way you may have hoped.

Good luck with your home-brew/ 1.50 hunting.
