that comment was in reference too my last one...lol...i asked WHAT NEW FEATURE DO YOU GUYS PREDICT IN THE NEXT R4 REALEASE:
i hope fordynamic recompiler this year and maybe for smash bros or glover or sanfran rush extreme racing and castlevania 64 (12mb!!) to work as well as mario in the next few updates.....this seems like a realistic goal...seems these games are playable now.....
sound is the last thing im worried about myself im hoping for one thing from next release......A WAY TOO SAVE MARIOS STARS....lol
i was just thinking what if you left the digital d-pad the d-pad....and leave a and b as square and x as they r now......but for the c buttons what wolud be EVEN EASIER than the SELECT TOGGLE IDEA is to make it so if you HOLD DOWN CIRCLE the d-pad becomes c-up c-down c-lef and c-right.......what do you guys think????just a tought....im happy to play 64 at all!!!!![]()
ps sorry for the double post just thought of this while playing mario!![]()
ill just shut up for i while.....lmao...

Thats a pretty good idea but on top of those ideas why not give the option to change the controls to your liking because not all games make full use of the controls so games can be played with comfort then save that option for each game. so say if the game does not use the d-pad go to options controls and switch it to your liking to fit the psp and comfort when playing different games then save it and when u come back the controls for that individual game is set. I truly think this is the best way to go.
I completely agree. All we need is custom controls, and maybe some other ways built in like the holding down O idea, which I really like or maybe make use of the remote for the music like the quake port did.
I look foward to save states and sound in the furute![]()
I already uses a Dynamic Recompiler.Originally Posted by vettacossx

And then the option to make your own settings for each individual game so the controls will fit the individual game and then save the controls for that game. And each game can be set to make the psp comfortable and work great.
i agree over time we sould have a option to MAP our buttons but ill bet thats a ways off yet... i hope they find a CREATIVE way too map the buttons for the versions that are to come as well ! i like pokemon stadium!!lol i need the c buttons!
WISH TRIANGLE WASNT Z BUT R OR L TRY HOLDING TRIANGLE DOWN AND JUMPING WITH X in mario 64.....not real good feel for the Zbutton....
and in reference to the compiler....this was copyed from this thread STRNM SAYS:

The code is almost a straight port of the PC code, so there's very little work done on optimising specifically for the PSP. It is running at 333 MHz. Currently I'm compiling with -O1, as -O2 seems to cause gcc to generate 'bad' code (i.e. it crashes on startup).
I'm doing software transforms + lighting, but all the rasterisation is handled by the psp hardware (there's probably quite a lot of work that can be done to optimise this).
I think the main speedup will come from sorting out the dynamic recompilation, but I need to free up another 3/4 MB of memory to get this working.
he said somthing like 60 fps after it works right!!!
omg huh???
