This really depends on what game you are playing, there are a couple of tricks like playing the PAL version of a ROM (20% speed increase) using frameskip or increasing the clock speed of your PSP to 333Mhz. Also changing the emulation mode (Accurate to approximate) may also give you an increase but it really does vary from game to game. Experiment and see what you come up with.

can anyone tell me why some games (specifically RPGs) freeze at some point. usually early in the game? i cant play any rpg for more than 5 minutes... got a 1.5. using the SNES9xTYL 0.4me.

ive used all versions of the snesx9tyl emu and still freezes at the same point!!! this is killing meeee...

I think the best version is 0.4.2me, but you have to have 1.5 to use it. If you don't have 1.5 the best version is 0.4.2

Just a little question, i just got a psp, FW 1.51, if i have 1.51 it means it´s not 1.5 and this will not work?
if so, what can i do (maybe eloader or should i update to 2.0 to use that)?

Upgrade to 2.0 (DON'T UPGRADE TO 2.71, so DON'T go to network update). Then downgrade to 1.5. If you need help upgrading and downgrading search the forums.

I downloaded .4.2 and when I run it it gives me a blank white screen and hangs. I have version 2.01. Anybody know the problem to what I am doing?
