    Default Downgrading PSP 2.60 possible???

    I come across this site:
    http://www.pspdowngrading.com/?hop=thewinning

They say they can downgrade 2.60 PSPs.... I'm not too sure... it all look abit strange....

    EDIT by DraconumPB:
Warning: While this site doesn't claim to downgrade 2.60 PSPs - and most likely doesn't distribute malicious code, it's asking a price for a guide to PSP downgrading. Do not do this. Many guides are availible on all the major PSP sites for downgrading a 2.00 PSP to 1.5, as well as using the firmware loader to load higher firmwares off a 1.5. All of these guides are freely availible, all you have to do is look... this website is a scam!

I check out more detail on the owner of the site....

    http://www.networksolutions.com/whoi...p?whoistoken=0

It seems to be created around 2006.... and will run to 2007.... and on one other site... it was said that it can downgrade 2.6 psps.... but I'm not sure why you have to pay if it's real.....

Don't do it! Until you read news here that its possible, you will be throwing away your money and risking bricking your PSP!

That's right.. there's been problems in the past with malicious coders releasing code billed as a downgrader - and apparently even for profit - that will indeed brick your PSP. Almost all the major coders (and you'd have to be to figure 2.6 downgrading out) at least post news about their discoveries and releases on this site, pspfanboy, qj.net, etc. even sometimes it makes Slashdot or Cnet if it's major enough. That would be pretty major so I think you'd have heard about it...

I don't think you quite understand, they are saying that if you're not satisfied you have up to 60 days to get a refund, it doesn't mean use it for 60 days and then get your money back. Anyways, I think the guy that posted this was stupid enough to have paid for it and now is trying to get some sort of referral bonus because the link that he posted is

    http://www.pspdowngrading.com/?hop=thewinning

    but if you go to

    http://www.pspdowngrading.com

it takes you to the same page, just without the referral parameter
