small update. The build is today (regardless if i am ready or not). Again I must appologize that the fps will be really low. Not to mention that i based my fps on n64 sync. So if a game runs at 30fps on the n64 & m64 tells you VSYNC is 5fps. You have to divide the results in half to get the rendered framerate.
Again on the bright side, Many games are actualy running (Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Starfox). Things will only improve over time.
I think alot were. Its actualy really slow but that is because there are alot of places to optimise still. I think daedalus does a bit more hle on the cpu emulation as well. Another issue is I count vsync ticks as fps and daedalus counts rendered frames.Originally Posted by joshk525
Hopefuly a revision will be out next week with large rom suport and hash/look up tables to speed memory access.
also one more thing. Smash Bros is not as bad as I though (visualy). There is a bug that shows a wigged out background on 2 stages but the others show up quite well. The render bug should be fixable tho (have to tweak a few things).
oh yeah, the build today! *can't wait!!!*
Im gnna be watching all day now lol... and i got coursework to do for my exam.... lol of all days.
monkey you should try not to think about what people think about your emu. It will still be good even if it's slow considering you built it from scratch. i know im gonna appreciate it
Yay! Only a few more hours to wait.![]()
