We already know the western version will be 6 months late.
Okay, folks at Joystiq have reported that Square Enix's president Yoichi Wada has annouced that Final Fantasy XIII will be released in Japan on December 17, 2009. It will retail for ¥8,800 (rouchly £58 or $95 US).
A PS3 hardware bundle with the game will come out, though Kaz Hirai doesn't tell of any info such as pricing or a date when it arrives though.
In any case, we know it's finally coming, now we just need a western release date for the game - if it does happen to differ to the Japanese launch that is.

I just hope europe doesnt get it ages after the US, cos it always pisses me off no end.
I watch the trailer of FF XIII battle scene, though the interface is much more gorgeous than FF XII and battle mode is like FF X and the aoen is more powerful, but I can`t see much more spotlight,In my opinion.
