Hasnt crashed with memory allocation on me too.But a conection scanner/chooser would be a great additiion to next release as a lot of people seem to be having trouble with multiple conections or even finding theres

    Smile Ive seen many

People ask for a connection scanner,
And I wonder if im missing somthing,
Shouldnt the connection scanner built into the psps network options work fine for this ?
I mean the psp has one by default doesnt it?

Still tho maybe im missing the point entirely, I havnt had sleep yet

Heh, if i hadnt used links before id be confused too.
if you drag the mouse to the top left and push "x" the file menu comes up. you then select goto or whatever. then when the address thing comes up you hit "start" to type.

It does, but I believe developers are trying to stay away from Sony incorporated processes for the PSP for compatibility reasons.

Not to mention it looks alot better having it all done inside the program.

The PSPRadio release has a connection chooser, so I think it wont be too long until the standalone gets one.

I have done some testing with it, going to sites that normally gave me memory issues on the PSPRadio version.

So far no memory allocation issues, which is great. I have also noticed that the keyboard is faster and doesnt ghost anymore (it does in the PSPRadio version, which might have been due to memory issues).

There are also alot more improvements. Clicking on an image now works (it didn't in PSPRadio version, so I could tell).

    Great release so far .

holy crap this browser is sick. it's actually better in my opinion than the sony one since it has an easy-to-use keyboard. but would it ever be possible to implement a flash or java player into this?

    Fantastic! Really.
    I love Links :P
A network chooser would be good, though.

When i load this up, it starts out immed with a no connection warning, but when i goto the url input bar, i typed in a site, and it loaded up fine. looks like it wont work at first, but then jus goto a site, and it loads right up. great!!

It may be possible, but we don't know yet.

Problem I see with having it play flash is memory consumption. It may be a big problem when flash is thrown into the mix.

I mean, just using the PSPRadio version and the standalone will show you that its very difficult to run 2 things at once on the PSP.

Just listening to music via PSPRadio and surfing this site in the Links plugin would cause it to crash due to memory allocation problems.

Flash would be dealing with sound and video. I can imagine memory issues galore with that...
