Default PlexTools GigaRec with dreamcast discs

    Hey bro's
I've tried out the gigarec function and it seems it can burn up to 1.3GB on 100min cds (1.3x) using Nero 6.6.

But I'm willing to burn some dreamcast homebrew discs using gigarec.
I made a image with bin2boot, about 900Megs of data.

But when burning with Alcohol 120% I get the following:

The image was made using Inducer and if I put 660 megs of data it will burn fine without GigaRec
GigaRec isnt capable of burning multisession discs in dao mode?
Bin2boot seems the only way because the cdrecord method (with the audio.raw file) uses track-at-once.

If there's anyone who successfully burnt a dreamcast disc using gigarec let me know

    Thanks

The one thing I would try if I had a Plextor writer with that gigarec feature is to burn a gigarec disc with something like 1 gb of mp3's, and use any of the homebrew players to swap discs and see if a Dreamcast can at least read plain .mp3 files from a Gigarec burned disc.

if you try it out, please post your results!

As far as i know, there were a handfull of yamaha burners that were capable of doing double density as well, but every company (or almost every company) that did such a thing had different standards. It MIGHT be possible to fake a GD-R with that kind of thing (if you have a yamaha made one) but then you wouldn't be able to use homebrew on it because homebrew isn't able to read gd-rs and such, so it's kind of a self-illegalizing deal...
If anyone is looking to buy, sell, trade games and support a developer directly at the same time, consider joining Goozex. Enjoy!

because homebrew isn't able to read gd-rs and such
    GD-R or GD-ROM?
