The Flower Garden is the centrepiece of the Arboretum and also one of the best flowerbeds in Nottingham.
The design this year was by Ian Cook and is a great red scheme using plants such as Coleus, Festuca, Begonia, Heuchera, Dahlia, Cinnerria Silver Dust, Verbas$#@!, Millet, Banana Plants, Busy Lizzies, Salvias and Tradescantia amongst others.
The beds can take up to 18,000 plants and is mowed sometimes twice a week and maintained at least once every week.
