Here's a good clip showing Gran Turismo 5's damage modelling, a first for the series. Collisions and crashes still look way too bouncy, but at least now you've got something to show for them

Looks fine to me, this game is not a Destruction Derby sim.
Looks bad... But then again this is Grand turismo, and not burnout.
Yes, its a racing sim. You crash, your car gets battered.
You hit a wall at 120, you car should be binned and the race ended. Not just a bumper hanging off.

Well thats not really a problem with Grid, Dirt, Forza 3 etc though?
I expected the psp game to not have crash damage (its still a top game though!)... but the PS3 version looks like they just bolted it on at the last minute (even though the game took forever to come out)?
Regardless i won't be buyin it lol
