PSP Updating Help (PSP Gods pls look)

Okay folks heres the situation, im currently running 3.80 M33-5 CFW and im looking to get up to the most recent one, one that will allow me to play the new MGS Demo.

I understand that i cant go straight through and ive been out of touch with the flow of updates i dont know whats the easiest route to update.

goto 3.90 M33-2 at least
then you can use the updater to goto 5.00M33

erm there is a MGS Peace Walker demo out...

Dude its legit, it was released at TGS about a week ago, its in Japanese and needs the latest software to run (6.00) from what ive read a certain 5.50 CFW can run it however
