iv been playin this game now 4 about 30 min and its great

i was very surprised cause the game is very basic...........if you add some new features like actually walking your drug lord that be alsome or wen you get into a shoot out wit da cop you put a quick window and you do the shooting or wen you sell drugs you see the transactions just thought but that would be great

Thanks for the feedback folks. This was my first shot at coding anything in Lua. I am planning to sort out a few bits and pieces with it in it's current form before I start adding actual graphical play. But it is something that I am looking into...

I had the same problem too. Background was black and I didn't see that interface at all. I used luaplayer 0.16 btw. So now I'm confused, are those pics from the original game, or is it what I'm suposed to be seying? :S

The screen shots that were posted are what you should be seeing. I have seen a few reports of a black screen. I think it might be a screen refresh problem. Can you click the left or right shoulder buttons and see if the screen refreshes ? I have tested it on PSP 2.01 Lua 0.16. Maybe there are problems with the different firmware versions ?

"L" and "R" do absolutly nothing over here. Its starts off with the text "yesterday's rumors 0" on th etop left hand of the screen. I can click random buttons and hear a cash register sound once in a while. That's about all I get. :S

Firmware 1.5 btw.

The text "yesterday's rumors 0" is debug information. Am I new to Lua coding so I made a few assumptions and they may have been incorrect. While coding i used the print command to provide me with debug information. So when I was coding using the windows Lua player this text would appear in the dos box that spawned the luaplayer. I wonder is this text blanking the screen. Give me a couple of minutes and I'll PM you an updated version with the prints taken out and see if that cures the problem.
