i never had a sam coupe... my speccy was good enough, and then i went the way of the amiga.![]()
curiously... since some emualtors (i think) do both, would you (zx-81) make the Sam Coupe emualtor backwards compatible to the speccy?
pspectrum is undergoing some excellent development at the moment, and my heart does lie with it, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of healthy competition!

I'm porting the SimCoupe emulator (cvs version for linux), and i really don't know if it is backward compatible or not ...Originally Posted by Hungry Horace
ok... a quick google of SimCoupe revealed "no" as the answer (at least, i think the website's faq would say so if it was possible)
good luck though mate... you seem to love the retro computer emulation!
ever thought about doing a decent psp port of uae? nah... didnt think so. hehe.

The Sam Coupe emulator sounds interesting. A friend had one but I never saw any games running.
On the subject of PSPBeeb I think it's certainly a job well done.
The only improvements I can think of would be to centre the screen and make it full height.
What do you think ZX?
