DS as a home control device

Has anyone looked into making a homebrew app for the Nintendo DS that can be used with a program like PowerHome (www.myx10.com) as a home remote control.

Being able to use the DS as a unified remote control for all the lights and stuff in a house would be super sweet. An arrangement where it shows the system status on the top screen while controls are shown on the touch screen is what I'm thinking.

I'm not very good at programming right now but I'm working on learning.

Hi Guerrand,

I'm just starting work on a similar project, although my idea is to control my media PC from the NDS. I want to be able to see and edit the current play list, use the stylus to seek within the current song, etc.

Adding X10 support is an interesting idea, although I don't really have anything I need to control.
