Armagetron - 3D Tron clone

There is a great open source fully 3D tron clone called Armagetron available at:

Now, Armagetron has been split off into two versions, Armagetron and Armagetron Advanced. The new advanced version has quite a bit of extra junk on the screen during play. However, the final version of the original has a very simple screen layout, is not complicated visually (simple bike models, walls, and a grid floor), requires only four buttons for gameplay, and includes a fully functional (and fun) AI engine for the computer players.

The game contains features for PC multiplayer modes, as well, but this, along with 95% of the video and sound features could be removed for play on a standardized platform like the PSP. The game runs fine on my PII 266 in 512x384 in Windows, so I see no reason the processing power of the PSP should be prohibitive, especially with a Quake 2 port proven possible.

Any coders agree?
