Black Wii for Europe from November 6

Nintendo has announced the black SKU of the Wii console will be available in the UK and Ireland from November 6.

The limited edition SKU will hit the rest of Europe from November 20, and come complete with black Remote, Wii MotionPlus, Nunchuck, and both Wii Sports games.

Nintendo will also sell a black version of the Classic Controller Pro and individual MotionPlus, Remote and Nunchuks separately from November 20

Well well, after seeing the console in black on the Internets so many times, it's finally official. Very good, though it would have been great if it came out earlier. I wonder what firmware version will come packaged in this one?

Don't have a clue but at least this time around it looks like we UK folks will get something first before any other nation besides Japan - something that does not happen very often, if not at all. I'm sure Nintendo will make an announcement on a US release very soon.
