    and the big zip solution?
    this is a must form many small rom files, for space occupied on memstick and for transfer.

    You can already use .zip files, so all files in one zip, or many zip files it's nearly the same

    Not really : memory sticks are divided in "clusters" so putting 10 zipped small file will use 10 clusters (can be 32Kb for big memory sticks), and using 1 zip file will only use 1 cluster, so 10 time less storage space.
    So putting 1000 small roms with 1000 small screenshots files can use 64Mb of your memory stick (ok, no one will use 1000 roms )

    How many coleco roms are there?


    I only found about a hundred or so... and they take up a whopping 2 megs of space on my card... what are you guys talking about? zipping these files? why?
