R4i Themes

I just bought this R4i card. It supports SDHC but it's not the one in the red box. It's the one in the green. I bought the card and the only kernel i can get to boot on it is the 1.56 version or the 1.55. So I wanted to change my themes, apparently it says that in my themes folder, there should be 12 theme folders. One for every day of the month. But in my theme folder I only have a default folder. And if I change the theme in that one, the DS won't boot. And if i add 12 theme folders in, it won't boot. So my question is, how do change your themes on this version of the kernel?
