man.. if only someone made a machine that played gba games.. on the go. anywhere... with a decent battery life... fortunately a device like this dosnt exist so I guess we will have to keep using our current gba machines...
Again, the emulator was built as a debugging tool, not for speed. It will be slower then VBA.

Can't even find a precompiled version of the emulator to try. Its an old dead project.
Looked through some of the code and it looks like it uses DirectDraw or DirectX. Rewrite that code and yes it should be possible to port. Will it be worth it, probably not. A GBA emulator for the PSP ideally needs to be rewritten from scratch to et any speed out.
meh, true, it has to be by scractch of gfx code or replace , gba emulator pc uses DirectDraw, Direct3D, OpenGL and yes even some uses DirectX
