2.6 and emulators

Yeah there are some real kick ass Genesis games like Shining Force 1-2 and Shadowrun.

any other often overlooked Genesis games one should get?

if you like rpgs , fantasy star is a good one. theres a few seqels to fantasy star i think theres 1 or 2 more if you like the first one.

the phantasy star games are ace.

2,3 and 4 .

i am currently on the final boss of PS4.

but shining force 1 and 2 and also shining in the darkness are also great.

i am running dgen 1.3 on bock with 2.5 but it should run fine with 2.6 also.

try installing version 0.7 also and run this once. i don't know why but i read it somewhere it helps with 1.3.

also a tip when saving games.

in PS4 for example when you save you press start then save in the game. is saves.

what to do next is press left shoulder button. it will take you to the Dgen menu. then you have to press the triangle button to actually save the game state to your memory stick. i think gives you a message to press circle button after triangle too.

if you don't do this it doesn't save.

you then have to exit the emulator to get back into the game ok. otherwise you just get a blank screen but the game is still running.

to exit Dgen press and hold L+R+start.

then just relaunch it from your menu screen and your away again. you can load your saved game fine.
