GTA won't load

GTA recently started refusing to load. I have no idea what happened. It worked fine before. It might be scratched, there's a line running along the whole thing in a circle, but it could have been there before for all I know. It can load the new game cinematic if I take out the memory card or delete the saves and it will load homebrew, but it won't load the actual game. Any help is appreciated.

BTW GTA is my only game (really only got it for homebrew but GTA is fun as well), so it could very well be my PSP (I hope not :/ ).

Does that mean I have to buy the game more than once just because they "wear off"?
