Freeplay Releases PSPGo 6.10 Exploit

It's finally time to get their hands FreePlay sull'exploit of which has been much debated in recent days. The lucky owners of a PSP Go! with firmware 6.10 and the game "Archer MacLean's Mercury" can finally enjoy some 'of homebrew they always wanted, all others must wait patiently for another miracle of the PSP scene. With the arrival of the new version of system software, the 6.20, Sony has indeed plugged the loopholes that allowed the exploit to take advantage of Freeplay, and also all those who have kept close to the old version will not buy the game from store without a firmware update.
While a good part of you will be busy eating their hands and leave you to download a demo video released recently by the same coder that we demonstrated the ineffectiveness of his exploits after the recent update to Sony.

After releasing this mathieulh showed that FreePlay took this from his server that he was given access to and released it without permission, and apparently most of FreePlay's work is stolen just so he can get the adulation from the Psp scene, Sony already patched the game before release so no real harm done, but a lot of the scene has started to shun FreePlay now so might end up the end for him.

Does this work on any other PSPs with firmware 6.10? Like the PSP 3000?

If you have the Mercury game before Sony patched it to need 6.20fw then it will work on Psp 3000 6.10fw, but don't bother because this is a dead exploit now.

It seems that there are plenty of cheap copies on Amazon, so I don't think there would be a problem getting it. I'm curious, can you run any homebrew app with this exploit, or is it just a simple hello world and will never be expanded upon?

It's just a hello world for now but i guess someone might have a go making a eloader for it, i'd just wait for the next exploit though because more have been found and not released yet.
