nds lite ?

i have a new crimson nds lite this one.

and was wondering if the old techniques for playing home brew games still apply to the newest ver of nds. if not what would i need to know? all i can find is posts from 2006 which is 3 years ago. and im sure that alot of the products they recommend is out of date or dont work with the newer stuff.


also what all is possible with the nds can they be hooked to a computer
can you change apps so forth so on. sorry but i'm completely new to these.
