Default help setting up PSP toolchain

I installed cygwin and did everything in the tutorial, ran toolchain.sh and it downloaded everything, it did a bunch of stuff and came up with this error:

Checking whether the C compiler < gcc > works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
    ERROR CONFIGURING BINUTILS

I've tried everything from downloading Dev-C++ (which I was going to do anyways) to installing a dif version of gcc to reinstalling cygwin itself. I have no clue what to do ...

    Please help

    Try this:

If it doesn't work then google comes up with quite a few answers:

DevC++ should come with its own GCC compiler regardless so you can start learning C++ at the moment.

Got it working thanks, now I jsut have to wait for the modchip to try stuff out

I tried PSPE but I can't get it to work, keeps crashing with some weird error. Maby my computers just faulty with all these errors lol.

If you'd like to help with the PSPE error to that'd be great. All my error's with Cygwin were at least understandable but this one with PSPE is beyond me to even try to figure out.
