Ookm Has created a do it yourself method firmware module, interesting stuff to say the least! Here what he had to say.

Nand Flash Chip 0 FW1.00
Nand Flash Chip 1 FW2.50
test to Access Nand Flash page 0x00200 (IPL)

PSP Multi Firmware module
price less than USD50-

EASY to Install !!
just soldering 20 points

features list:
* ALTERA MAX 3000A Cost-Optimized CPLD

That´s a funky looking PSP, lol. Nice to know different things are working on the psp.

umm go to psp-hacks.com they have an app for this that dcemu is avoiding

Hmm. Now if ookm could use this to retrieve a 2.71 firmware dump.

We havnt avoided devhook. Its really just that no one before me has posted about it here. I think its a great app, But I feel if those before me havnt posted about it, there must be good reason.
